With her dynamic personality and a commitment to serve, Zozibini Tunzi is a changemaker, leader, women advocate and philanthropist who has a heart for humanity and a passion for shaping communities. In pursuit of her artistry, she has also led a trailblazing pageantry career with a legacy of being named Miss Universe and Miss South Africa in the year 2019, and a featured actress in renowned motion pictures. 

She was raised in a small village in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Defying the odds, she earned a B-Tech Public Relations Management degree from Cape Peninsula University of Technology while working full-time in an undergraduate program at a Cape Town communications agency. She had previously earned a National Diploma in Public Relations Management from the same institution.

She seeks to enact meaningful change by helping achieve gender equality through education. By facilitating, and making provision for the education of women, both formal and informal from infancy to old age, she makes her contribution to sustainable change in this regard. Zozi aims to use her voice, and the foundation’s to empower, impact & influence the world.
